FIRE RESTORATION
The unfortunate ravishing of this Edwardian period triplex by fire left the owner with the choice to rebuild or relocate. Her love for the home and the community it housed made the choice easy. What wasn’t easy was recreating the historical feeling on an insurance claim budget for 3 units within a 12 month timeline.
Besides replacing all the finishes, we also did structural upgrades, all new plumbing and electrical systems, sound proofing, new roof framing design, and a triple story deck that opens onto backyard views.
On the interior special touches were added such as the, intricate glass door knobs, restored chandeliers, custom railing in the owners unit, triple tray plaster ceiling in the meditation room, the Spanish influenced entry door and restored bath fixtures throughout.
The exterior stucco was only partially damaged but an entire new texture was applied on the whole structure. Project completed 3 weeks early!
